Do I need to supply my own SIM card?

No. CoreGPS includes SIM connectivity with every tracker, so you do not need to buy, activate or manage separate SIM plans across your fleet.

Will CoreOBD fit my vehicles?

CoreOBD plugs into the standard OBD-II port found in most cars, utes and vans sold in Australia since 2006, usually located under the dash on the driver's side. If you are unsure about a specific vehicle, contact us before ordering.

Is there an ongoing subscription?

Your selected tracking period is included upfront for each tracker. After that period ends, you can renew from $9/month or $90/year per tracker if you want to continue using the tracking service.

Is installation complicated?

No. CoreOBD plugs straight into the OBD port — there is no wiring, no electrician and no vehicle downtime. Most vehicles are online within a minute of plugging the tracker in.

Can I move the tracker between vehicles?

Yes. Because CoreOBD is a plug-in tracker, you can unplug it and move it to another vehicle when your fleet changes, without paying for a new installation.

What happens if a driver unplugs the tracker?

If a tracker is unplugged it stops reporting from that vehicle, and CoreGPS can alert you when a device loses power or goes offline. CoreOBD is designed for visible business tracking rather than covert protection — if you need a tracker that is hidden and tamper-aware, consider our hardwired CoreBasic or CoreTough trackers.

Do I need to tell my drivers the vehicles are tracked?

Will the tracker drain vehicle batteries?

The tracker is low draw and uses efficient sleep modes when the vehicle is parked. For vehicles driven regularly, as most work vehicles are, battery impact is minimal.

How often does the tracker update?
